The Immaculate Conception Parish and Saint Joseph Church, Jim Thorpe are Roman Catholic churches of the Diocese of Allentown. Our Parish is guided by Sacred Scripture and the authentic Magisterium of the Catholic Church as interpreted by the Bishop of Rome in communion with the college of Bishops. We strive especially to witness to Christ’s command to love one another by living the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy. Conscious that we are a church of sinners in need of redemption, we gather weekly on the Lord’s Day to seek both reconciliation and courage to live as committed disciples of Jesus. We seek to respond in generosity to the Lord’s call for each of us to use our particular gifts and grace for the praise and glory of God and the building up of the Body of Christ which is the Church. We strive to make the Liturgy both the source and summit of our faith life and apostolic ministry especially in the reverent celebration of the Eucharist. We are committed to the goals and standards of Catholic Education both in the formation of our children and adults as well as practicing the New Evangelization to further the Culture of Life in our community.
