Dear Families,
Welcome to another year of our Parish Religious Education Program (PREP)! Our first class will be held on Sunday, September 6th! Here is some important information for you to know:
● Class will be held on Sunday mornings following the 8:30 Mass at St. Joseph Church. Classes are held in the former St. Joseph Regional Academy building. Students are dismissed at 10:30 by their teacher to the parking lot behind the school. Parents should be waiting to pick up their child.
● All students should meet in the Cafeteria and go to the classroom with their teacher.
● Students are strongly encouraged to attend class each week, except in the case of illness. We will have a prize for any student who attains perfect attendance!
● Program fee: $55.00 - First child
$35.00 – Second child
$15.00 – Third child

● There will be a monthly parent portion to PREP to be completed by the student and their parents.
● In order to prepare to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Eucharist or Confirmation, the following requirements need to be met:
1. The child must be baptized and have a baptismal certificate on file in the Parish Office (not
necessary if baptized at ICC or St. Joseph).
2. The child must participate in the Religious Education Program for two (2) consecutive years
prior to receiving the sacrament.
3. Students must have a basic understanding of the course content and knowledge of the
Catholic faith.
